> Recreation Areas

The Council owns and maintains two recreation areas – one at Terrace Lane, Pleasley and the other at Rotherham Road, New Houghton.

Terrace Lane

The site is equipped with a children’s play area, climbing net and a kickabout area. There is also outdoor gym facilities.

Rotherham Road

The site includes a children’s play area, outdoor gym facilities and a full size football pitch. Changing facilities for the football pitch at Rotherham Road are available at the New Houghton Community Centre. The cost of the pitch including the use of the changing facilities is £15 and bookings should be arranged with the Caretaker for New Houghton Community Centre:
